It’s been a while since i last did a proper post. So here goes…

9 more days to graduation, how time flies. Part of me feels excited that another chapter of my life will be coming to an end in a few days’ time, but… I won’t be looking forward to the fact that the friendship ties developed with schoolmates from across all the levels will be a distant memory. I’ve been thankful because 4 years ago, i entered the school on the first day of Term 1 not knowing anyone. I was just a guy who no one knew. No primary school friends, nothing. But fast forward 4 years later, i’m just glad that i’ve been given the chance to make so many new friends and meet different types of people from different backgrounds/ However, along the way… i’ve lost a couple of them, but that’s the harsh reality.

4 years in Riverside Secondary, a few more weeks to THE examination that’ll determine my future and definitely my career. The thought of it scares me, but i’m still not feeling the stress yet.

Blame it on the school or blame it one me, but i’m pretty drained after studying intensely for Prelims not too long ago, and now i’m back to where i began, studying all over again for Preparatory Exams. It’s tiring.

Meh, i can’t wait for 14th November. The day where i’ll clear my study table(s) from textbooks, files, TYS everything related to secondary-school life. I’m gonna start a brand new life. I’ll spend my long holiday break wisely with my bestfriends, team sembarang and the soccer dudes. I’ll find a suitable job, work out and exercise regularly, play soccer with my friends, rot at home playing my future XBOX or PS3. I’ll have regular movie marathons at home to catch up on the movies i’ve yet to watch this year. All these thoughts do excite me but…… i know i can’t get distracted by the future cause i’ve got a battle to face very soon.

Life as a student in Sec 4 is indeed hard. I can’t wait for the battle to end.

But once that flame blows out, and you two break up, it’s hell. Seeing him or her everyday for the rest of the school year, talking, flirting with other people.
